Where is Wimdu located?

Our headquarters is located in a central area of Berlin and can be easily reached using public transport or bicycle. We also have an office in central Lisbon.

What are the perks and benefits of working at Wimdu?

We encourage all our employees to travel and provide quarterly travel vouchers, as well as unlimited vouchers for friends and family. Furthermore, we offer free drinks and snacks, a buffet lunch every Wednesday, team events and parties.

Will I be expected to travel?

Most of our positions do not require any business related travel.

Can I work as freelancer?

From time to time, we look for freelancers to work with. All freelance positions are listed on our jobs page.

Can I work from a remote location?

We do not offer the option to work remotely. All our employees are located either in Berlin or in Lisbon.

Do you offer internships?

Yes, we offer internships as well as positions for working students. All open positions are listed on our jobs page.

What benefits do I have at Wimdu as an intern?

All our internships are paid. Interns are also entitled to all our great perks and benefits, such as a buffet lunch each Wednesday, free drinks and fruits, parties, team events and travel vouchers.

How can I apply?

What documents do I need to attach to my application?

We ask that you attach your CV and a cover letter which includes your availability and salary expectations, preferably in PDF format.

Are German skills necessary?

We are a very international team and have colleagues from over 30 different countries. Our official company language is English.

How do I get a working permit?

We have many new colleagues who first have to apply for a visa. Our HR Department can help guide you through the process and offer any information needed.

Should the application be written in German or English?

As our official office language is English, please apply in English and attach any documents in English whenever possible.

What should I wear for the interview?

The working atmosphere at Wimdu is smart-casual, so there is no need to dress formally for the interview.

What is the interview process like?

Your first interview will be with one of our recruiters by phone or via Skype. The next steps involve interviews with your potential future colleagues and Team Leader. The number of interviews will vary depending on the job position. We may also ask you to take part in a test of your skills.

How long will the interview take?

The duration of the interview is usually between 45 to 60 minutes.

What are the next steps after the interview?

After the last interview, your recruiter will follow up with you and explain the next steps. If we decide to move forward, we are generally very fast in making an offer.
